We are a small, dedicated kennel based in the North East of England, committed to breeding Black & Tan Coonhounds with exceptional temperaments and sound, healthy structure. With such a limited population of coonhounds in the UK, we place great importance on genetic diversity, responsible breeding practices, and maintaining the integrity of the breed standard.

Health and welfare are at the heart of everything we do. We actively monitor known health concerns within the breed and make thoughtful breeding decisions to protect future generations. Temperament is equally vital: our aim is to produce confident, stable, affectionate hounds who thrive both as companions and working dogs.

Our future aim is to work closely with breeders across the EU and the US to broaden bloodlines and strengthen the breed’s future in the UK. We are heavily involved with the Black & Tan Coonhound Club of Great Britain breed club, regularly supporting fundraising, education, and welfare initiatives.

All puppies are raised in our home and carefully exposed to a wide range of environments, people, and experiences. This early socialisation helps them grow into well‑rounded, resilient young dogs.

We currently share our home with two females: Martha, aged 4, bred by Scenterbay Coonhounds—her dam, Birdy, was the first coonhound born in the UK. Aggie, aged 1, imported from Italy and bred by Sergio Penner, a highly respected figure in the hound world.

Our girls are beloved family members first and foremost, and their wellbeing guides every decision we make.
